Being constipated is the worse. Not only can it be painful but it makes you feel bloated, huge, and just plain uncomfortable. But there are ways to cure constipation with things you probably have in your pantry right now.



1) Baking Soda and Warm Water

Mix one teaspoon of baking soda in a quarter cup of warm water. Drink it up quickly so it works fast. This will relieve constipation pain and will get things moving.

3) Eat Blackstrap Molasses

8) Take Some Magnesium Citrate

Prebiotic fibers improve your digestive health and fill your belly with good bacteria. It increases the frequency of your bowel movements and makes your stools softer. So, foods like onion and garlic can get rid of constipation.

12) Eat Some Glucomannan

Glucomannan is a fiber that can be used to treat constipation. This also produces good bacteria in your gut. You can take supplements to eat shirataki noodles which are made with glucomannan.

13) Mint or Ginger Tea

Mint and ginger tea are good for digestive health. Mint has an antispasmodic effect to relax the muscles in your digestive tract. Ginger generates heats to speed sluggish digestion and hot water also stimulates digestion and constipation relief.

14) Lemon and Water

Citric acid stimulates your digestive tract. It also flushes out toxins and relieves constipation. Squeeze fresh lemon into a glass of water each morning.

15) Consume Castor Oil

Castor oil acts as a laxative. Take one to two teaspoons on an empty stomach. You should see results in about 8 hours.
